Matt Lemming (Im Lab) won the poster competition for postdocs at the Martinos Center Summer Symposium. Matt presented his work in applying deep learning for dementia detection in routinely collected clinical brain MRI.
Mi Ho (Im Lab) has been selected as a finalist in the ATS 2022 BEAR Cage competition based on her proposal “Molecular diagnostics of pulmonary fibrosis using cell-specific extracellular vesicles.”

Mi Ho (Im Lab) has been selected to receive a 3-year Postdoctoral Fellowship Award from National Research Foundation of Korea for her research on the platform development of early detection for pulmonary fibrosis via single exosome analysis.
Matt Leming (Im Lab) has been selected as a Research Education Component (REC) trainee at the Mass Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (MADRC). As a REC trainee, Matt will participate in various career development and research activities provided by MADRC. Hyungsoon Im is also affiliated with REC at MADRC through his project on brain-derived EV analysis for AD.
Hyungsoon Im received the commencement from the Minister of Science and ICT, Republic of Korea, for his contribution to breakthrough life science research
Hyungsoon Im has received the Young Investigator Award from the 2020 Human Frontier Science Program. The program supports international collaboration in cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research focused on the life science.
Daem Celestin, an undergraduate student from Northeastern University, won the Research Award in the Physical and Life Sciences at the RISE: 2019 event. She has been working on the nPLEX technology for high-throughput EV protein analysis under the guidance of Drs. Hyungsoon Im and Cesar Castro.
